Dear Readers
I am pleased to inform you that the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education has started publishing the magazine "Wiedza Medyczna".
Our new publishing house is addressed not only to doctors, biologists or biotechnologists but also to all persons involved in and interested in medical and health sciences. We will publish articles in both basic and clinical sciences. Extremely rapid progress in science requires fast exchange of information and presentation of the state of knowledge in a different fields by recognized experts. Therefore, our magazine will be published on-line and open access. We intend to publish original articles, review articles and case reports, as well as run a postgraduate education, which in the opinion of the Editorial Team and the Scientific Council may be helpful during specialization training and postgraduate education.
In the inaugural issue of “Wiedza Medyczna” we present articles from the Dermatology Department Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education, Otolaryngology Department Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education and the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education. These articles show diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties that dermatologists and otolaryngologists may encounter. All the presented problems show the importance of detailed clinical analysis of each patient.
Therefore, I invite you to read and cooperate with the Editorial Team and the Scientific Council of our magazine. We are open to all your comments and suggestions regarding the subject of " Wiedza Medyczna". The title of our magazine leaves the formula open to both future authors and readers. We expect on your suggestions.
