Building of the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education at 99/103 Marymoncka Street, Warsaw
The editorial office of Wiedza Medyczna is based at the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education, 99/103 Marymoncka Street, Warsaw.
The building has three entrances. The main entrance from Marymoncka Street is equipped with a ramp for wheelchair users, although the entrance itself is not fully adapted. An assistance bell is installed at the door. The building can also be accessed from Twardowska Street directly from pavement level.
Access is also available from Cegłowska Street via the car park, where one parking space is designated for disabled users. The most convenient access for wheelchair users is from Twardowska Street and Cegłowska Street.
The building is equipped with a stair platform for disabled users, located by the cloakroom on the Twardowska Street side. A tactile floor plan is available on every level of the building.
There are two lifts in the building. They are equipped with audible signals and voice announcements indicating the floor number and additional information, such as building exits. The lift panels include Braille markings. All rooms are accessible to wheelchair users.
The reception desk is designed to allow wheelchair users to approach the counter. An accessible toilet is located on the lower ground floor on the Cegłowska Street side and is fitted with an assistance call system. Toilet doors throughout the building are marked with pictograms. Braille signage and enlarged print signage for blind and partially sighted users are provided throughout the building.
The stairs, including the beginning and end of each flight, as well as light switches in corridors, toilets and lecture rooms, are marked in contrasting colours. Above the main entrance there is a Totupoint sound beacon to guide blind and partially sighted users. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are permitted throughout the building.
In the main auditorium, ramp access is provided to the stage platform for wheelchair users. The steps in the seating area are marked, and there is a safe emergency exit from the auditorium to the internal grounds.

The building is accessed via the entrance from Przybyszewskiego Street. Steps lead up to the entrance. The building is equipped with a lift and a stair platform. The lifts provide audible signals and voice announcements indicating the floor number and additional information, such as building exits. The lift panels include Braille markings.

Under Article 30 of the Act of 19 July 2019 on ensuring accessibility for persons with special needs, a person with special needs, or their legal representative, may request that architectural or information and communication accessibility be provided.

To improve communication for hard of hearing users, induction loops have been installed and a mobile FM assistive listening system has been provided.
An induction loop is available in the main auditorium of the building at 99/103 Marymoncka Street. The location is marked with the induction loop symbol.
At the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education, a sign language interpreter may be arranged at the request of the person concerned.
Pursuant to Article 6 of the Act of 19 July 2019 on ensuring accessibility for persons with special needs, the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education provides support through communication aids referred to in Article 3(5) of the Act of 19 August 2011 on Sign Language and Other Means of Communication.
